Go South to the Road – United States
God has also called us to go south… and listen to the Spirit’s call and direction. He leads us to different places, people, neighborhoods, homes, and settings to share Christ. At First Woodway, we are ready to go wherever God sends us. Whether it be all of the sudden or a well planned effort, we will join together to Go South to the Road.
What’s Happening Now!
SEATTLE CHURCH PLANT PARTNERSHIPS
We are still exploring and praying over what this partnership will look like, but we want to invite the First Woodway family to pray and dream with us for this unique opportunity. We know future trips will be planned, but our need right now is for you to pray for these two pastors and their churches, and seek if you feel called to be part of this missional effort. Some of the things we’ve done in the past include things such as wood cutting, splitting, delivering and stacking for widows or the less fortunate that use the wood to heat their homes all winter. We have also done things such as yard work, building and mending fences, painting, staining, cleaning, repairing roofs, clearing weeds and debris to help protect from wildfires, etc. While serving we connect with widows, those with financial struggles, and different community members and serving organizations within BV. This trip is designed so that all family members will have the opportunity to be able to serve in some way.
