Senior Care Ministry
Contact | Roy Marshall
The Senior Care Ministry is here to assist in caring for our church family. We help with navigating health care services, in-home contact and visits, and in-home food delivery on Wednesday evenings. We also have retirement facility worship services each Sunday, Bible studies, and a dementia support group. There are also service opportunities for volunteers to visit homebound, local nursing homes, those in local hospitals, and to assist with Bible studies and worship experiences both on and off campus of our local retirement centers and nursing homes. No matter your age, if you desire to serve our homebound and/or senior adult residents, we have a place for you. If you are in need of prayer, we would also love to pray for you – submit a request by clicking the button above.

*Visit our Care Ministry page to view the care groups (DivorceCare, GriefShare, etc.) that are offered church wide.

God’s Toolbox
Contact | Lynn Brooks
God’s Toolbox’s primary focus is to care for, share with, and serve others through home repair projects. They assist the elderly, people of low income, and the disabled, enabling them to live in warmth, safety and independence.

Wednesday Night Saints
Contact | Wanda Glaze
Each Wednesday night during the school year, our volunteers deliver a warm meal along with hug and a prayer to 30-40 people. These homebound families love the conversation time the most, just knowing someone cares about them. Contact Wanda Glaze via email or call 254.666.8276 to see how you can spend one hour each week to deliver a meal to someone who is hurting or alone.

This ministry treks to many places just for fun! Our day trips in the past have included adventures to Latham Springs, the Texas Hill Country, Presidential Libraries in Dallas and College Station, Homestead Heritage in Waco, a Christmas Celebration at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, and many more. Please reach out to Roy Marshall, our Minister of Pastoral Care + Senior Adults, for more information and/or questions.
