Your child will love and anticipate Sunday Mornings at First Woodway. Your child is invited to get connected at 9:00 am in a Bible Study class, then stay for 10:15 am kids’ worship, created to be especially relevant to their lives: Preschoolers in “Pre-K Praise,” Kindergarten and First Graders in “Hallelujah House!” and Second-Fourth Graders in “The WORD.”
Bible Study: Infants – Sixth Grade
Sundays will never be the same! We invite your kids to a new and exciting way to experience God. Each week your kids will draw closer to Jesus through hands-on active Bible study with our caring and gifted leaders. This will be a time packed full of fun for your child with praise and worship, great stories from the Bible, creative skits, games and activities, and fun with friends.
Pre-K Praise: Preschool
Pre-K Praise meets in Room 116 of the Education Building, on the blue hallway. Kids gather together to experience large group music and worship, Bible teaching through stories and small group activity stations. If your child attends 9:00 am Bible Study, they will be taken directly to Pre-K Praise for the 10:30 hour.
Hallelujah House: Kindergarten – First Grade
Hallelujah House meets in Room A-120 of the MAC (gym). Imagine a room JUST for kids… with a barn, farmhouse, silo, country store, post office, and theatre stage… a room full of fun things for kids to do, see, touch & experience! And then imagine phenomenal, fun leaders who bring it all to life through their wacky alter-egos: Rowdy & Red, and SuperChick & SuperDude! Add to it a host of volunteers with a passion for helping children gain wisdom and understanding in foundational Biblical truths… and well, you’ve got Hallelujah House! With large-group worship and praise that is full of energy and fun songs, skits, videos and puppets that come to life, Hallelujah House is always a favorite time for the kids and is certain to hold great truths!! And with every child as part of a small group, kids are sure to make friends and get a ton of care and love from their small group leader.
The WORD: Second Grade – Fourth Grade
The WORD meets in Room 1204 on the second floor of the Children’s Building. Every Sunday the kids are challenged to worship God with all of their life! Our desire in the Word is that the kids will learn to love one another like Jesus taught, that they will apply His truths to their lives, and commit to a life of serving Him! During Gravitate Time kids get to hang out in “The Alley” – a cool space where they can catch up with leaders and friends, play games, air hockey, foosball, and even do crafts! ElevateTime: This is when the kids experience a powerful time of worship, learn about God’s WORD through drama, videos, music, teaching, and other crazy attention-getting methods! Navigate Time: Kids meet in small groups with their leaders, with the focus being to build relationships through discussions, activities and prayer. The Word is a great, safe, fun and inviting ministry for kids of all backgrounds! Whether or not they have been in church since birth or just beginning …this is the place for KIDS!

NEW BELIEVERS 101 Class
The Kingdom Kids New Believers 101 Class is a pre-requisite for grade school children to be baptized at First Woodway. We believe that baptism is an outward symbol of an inward decision to follow Christ, so this class is for kids who have already accepted Christ as their Savior and desire to be baptized. In this class, we will discuss salvation, baptism, the Lord’s Supper, Worship, and how children can begin to grow in their Christian walk. Each child will receive a devotion book and workbook. MDO (Mother’s Day Out)
SUMMER AND FALL ENROLLMENT BEGINS MARCH 1
(We will be closed for Spring Break March 5-9)
The mission of First Woodway Mother’s Day out program is to provide opportunities for children to hear, learn, and live out God’s Word in a Christian-based preschool setting. Our desire is to teach and encourage children to love God, love others, and serve both.
The goal of First Woodway’s Mother’s Day Out program is to create a Christ centered environment for young children that is inviting and full of exciting and educational activities. Our Bible-based curriculum provides a teaching topic for each week, which includes a Bible verse, story, and activity. Our rooms are arranged for free play time as well as for learning centers where children can make choices for individual or small group activities. We strive to meet the spiritual, emotional, mental, physical, and social needs of your child in a warm and loving environment.

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor, he has sent me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed, to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19
First Woodway knows being a mother is one of the toughest yet most important jobs a woman can ever do, and First Woodway has a MOPS group especially designed to help Mothers of Preschoolers! These often sleep-deprived women, with stroller and car carrier appendages, meet regularly every other Wednesday morning (9:00 – 11:30 am) from September to May.
MOPS International Registration Fee is $32 (paid at time of registration)
MOPPET fees are paid in September and January – $35/one MOPPET or $45/two or more
