Wednesday Night Saints
Sharing love and fellowship with those in our community who are homebound by providing a warm meal.
Our homebound families are those who find it difficult to leave their homes on a frequent basis, which includes senior adults and families with special needs. Because they aren’t always able to be with us on a Sunday morning, this ministry brings the church to them.
Wednesday Night Saints operates during the spring and fall. If you are looking for opportunities to serve, these are ways you can be involved:
If you like to make desserts, Wednesday Night Saints could use your gift of baking. Simply volunteer to provide a dessert once a month or every week.
This team meets on Wednesday afternoons from 3:45-5:00 pm to package pre-prepared food into “To Go” containers. Boxes are labeled, sorted, and made ready for the delivery team.
Those who deliver meals are in essence delivering an “I love you” from the church. Team members deliver to the same family each week to provide friendship and community. If you enjoy conversation and fellowship, this might be a great role for you!
