Christian Writers Workshop Kickoff

Cost: Adults $20, Students $5
Location: The Venue at First Woodway Baptist Church (across the street from the Main Building)
This year our guest speakers are Rose-Mary Rumbley, the “Voice of Dallas,” and Dr. Thomas Kidd, history professor and writer advocate. They will present invaluable insights into the Christian writers’ market. Cost for the one day event is $20 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets are required and may be purchased here or by calling the church office at 254-772-9696.

Christian Writers Workshop is dedicated to bringing you great speakers from the front lines of today’s writers’ market. They come fully prepared to discuss writing techniques, style, what editors want, and how to communicate a Christian worldview in today’s marketplace. During the eleven Wednesday evening sessions of 2019, you will hear award-winning authors and speakers sharing their secrets to writing the winning poem, novel, memoir, or article as well as you will have the opportunity to share your own writings with others. Speaker sessions begin at 6:00 pm and conclude at 7:00 pm; however, discussion and editing groups may continue afterwards. Be sure to take advantage of all the wonderful resources CWW 2020 offers!
